Little Scientist

We were scientist this week while learning about

Natural Resources.

We investigated three types of soil, clay, sand and dirt.

 

 

 Then like all good scientist we recorded

our findings in our science journal.

Marshmellow Sight Word Game

We used marshmallows, YUM YUM,

to learn our sight words today.

 

It was a super fun game.

 Yes we used a snowman and pretended the marshmallows were snowballs.

Today we had our first birthday of the year.

Snow Snow and Snowman!!!

This week we started the week reading The Cold Lady who Swallowed Some Snow.

We read and wrote poems about snow and we worked on our word work using a Snowman Book.

It was a fun Snowman Week.

 

We ended the week making a really cute snowman.

 

We painted.  Which we all loved.

 We worked together to cut out the hat, scarf, boots

and mittens for our snowman.

 

Then finally we made a super adorable snowman.

We are very excited about the New Year and a new semester in Kindergarten.

 

Today we talked about resolutions and making goals.

 

Each student made a goal for home and school.

We put our home goal on a balloon and we are flying high.
