100th Day of School

We had a slow start this morning. 

There was a late opening for bad weather. 

We did not let this keep us from having a great 100th Day.

3D Shapes

In math we are learning about 3D Shapes,

sphere, cone, cube and cylinder.

They loved the large blow up shapes.

 

 We got into groups and discussed what the characteristics of each shape are and where we see this shape.

 

Then each group shared their information

and we created this anchor chart.



Indoor Recess

We are ready to go outside and play.

But we sure have fun at indoor recess.

 

Snowing in Texas

We had so much fun going out in the snow today.

We just had to go out and catch snowflakes.

Groundhog Day

Sunday, February 2 was Groundhog Day.

The students enjoyed learning about this fun tradition.

First we made a graph, voting if you thought Yes or No the groundhog would see his shadow.

 

 

 We made a groundhog treat.

They loved making pudding. 

Everyone took a turn.

 

Our little groundhog turned out funny looking

but it was still yummy!
