Fire Safety

Today the Euless Fire Department came to talk to

the students about Fire Safety.

What kind of Apple do you like?

Today we tasted 3 types of apples, red, green and yellow.



 

The students tasted each apple and decided

which apple they liked the best.

 

Then we created a class graph.

We discussed and compared the differences.

To my surprise green was the apple liked the best.

30th Day of School

Today s the 30th day of school. 

Zero the Hero came to visit again.

The students are really beginning to see the

importance of the number 0.

Making Applesauce

This week we read books about Johnny Appleseed, Wrote about Johnny Appleseed and made Applesauce.

Student of the Month

Samantha Cole received the Bear Creek Kindergarten

Student of the Month Award for the Month of September.

Purple Day!

Sing about Purple, Purple Poem, Wrote a What is Purple class book, made a Purple Pic Collage and some really cute Purple Kids.

Heat Energy

In our unit on Matter we are learning about Heat Energy.

So we are making cookies to see how heat changes matter.

You gotta love Kindergarten Science.

The students predicted that the cookie dough would flatten, melt, cook and be Yummy!

 While waiting for the cookies to bake we put chocolate chips in our hand to see what would happen to them.

 

 Then we ate our yummy cookies!
