By Friday we can see the radishes growing.

The Butterfly Life Cycle

Thank you to the Kaplan Family who gave us Butterfly Garden.  We are observing them in the larva stage right now.

This is going to be so fun.

The Decorah Eagle

The students enjoy watch a web cam of the Decorah Eagle.

It is a web cam located in a tree in Iowa.

The Mom and Dad eagle now have 3 babies.

The students get to watch the eagles feed and

take care of their babies.

It is super cool!!!!

We try to watch the eagles every day at snack time.

Enjoy watching if you would like.

How Big is Texas?

While learning about our state, TEXAS,

we talked about how big it is.

We used a poster size map of the United States and counted how many pennies it took to fill in the state.  Then we saw how many pennies it took to fill in other states.

Texas Symbols

We have been reading and learning about Texas Symbols.  Here is a video we made about the Texas Symbols.
