NEU PEP RALLY

Today was our first NEW Pep Rally.

We had several scholars who wore purple and gold.

Even some scholars who wore LSU shirts.

Then we went to the Pep Rally.

Go Tigers!   L-S-U!   L-S-U.

They are finally here!

Every day the scholars ask "When are we getting our ipads".  Then today they finally came.  The scholars were so excited.  

Here they all are waiting to get their hands on them.  

Happy Birthday Jack!!!!

B-L-U-E Day

B-L-U-E spells Blue.

Today is blue day.

The kids sang the BLUE song, found BLUE words, brainstormed things that are BLUE  and wrote a Blue Sentence.

What Letters are in your name?

This week we are looking at , talking about 

and counting the letters in our names.

We outlined our name with star stickers.

We used letters and decided what letters were in our name 

and what letters were not in our name.

Then finally we counted the letters in our name 

and graphed the least to the most.

We learned that "Jack" had the least letters in his name and "Annabelle Grace" had the most letters in her name.

We had so much fun learning the names of all our friends.

First Visit to the Library

Today we went to the Library for the first time.

We meet Mrs. Johnson the librarian.  

We learned how to pick out a good book and how to check it out.

We will go every week as a class for a few weeks then we will go whenever we want.

Introducing "TIGER"

We have a class fish.

Today we finally brainstormed many names 

and voted on what to name our fish.

Introducing "Tiger" the class pet.
