100 BOOK CHALLENGE

We are taking the 100 Book Challenge

Every time the students read a book they color in 

a square on a 100 grid chart.  

When they reach 50 books they can bring in their chart and get their picture up on the 50 books read wall.

Rachael's Challenge Rally

We had our Rachael's Challenge Rally today.

If you are not familiar with Rachael's Challenge, Rachael was a high school student who lost her life at Columbine.  She left behind a journal where she talked a lot about spreading kindness to the world.  She said being kind can start a chain reaction.

At Bear Creek we practice kindness and document this kindness.

When the students see a friend doing something kind we write it on a strip of paper and chain the links together.
