Five Senses

We introduced our Five Senses Unit today 

with Gummy Life Savers.

We listened, smelled, touched, looked and 

tasted our gummy.

Numbers to 10

We have been learning our numbers to 10.

We learn to write them correctly, make sets and count.

The number 5 is particularly hard to write so today we made our five with play dough before we learned to write it with a pencil.

Pete the Cat

Today we read Pete the Cat.

The scholars took turns pointing to the words 

to read and print matching color words.

Snack Time

Every Day we go outside for Snack Time.

These are some lucky kindergarteners 

to get a second short recess to eat their snack.

iPad Arrival

Today we got our iPads.

For our first project we took them outside for Science.

We found a Summer Tree to adopt.

We studied the tree, took a picture of our summer tree.

Now we will use pic-collage to label our summer tree.

Sight Word Practice

We practice our sight words every day.

Today we used a power point.
