Fall + Pumpkins = Fun

Pink Out

We had a fun Pink Out Day.

 

The students enjoyed all the pink sparkles, Tough Guy Shirts and even pink cookies.

Friends in Pennsylvania

Today we had our first Skype time with our new friends in Rosemont Pennsylvania.  We met our new friends as part of the GRA, Global Read Aloud.

The book today was the North Star.  We shared our thoughts about the book and what journeys we are going on.  However the kids just liked talking to the new friends.

Blue Day

Blue Day was really Happy.

 

The students love singing all of our color songs.  They are getting really good at spelling all of the color words and are starting to use them in their journal writing.



 We created a blue pic collage and then had a blue museum. 

Who is Christopher Columbus

Today we learned about Christopher Columbus.

We used a globe and a small boat and tracked his voyage.

 

 

 

Brown Day

We had fun on Brown Day.  I think that because it was Early Dismissal we were a little rushed so I did not get pictures.
