Candy Sales Winners

We had five students in our class sell 2 or more boxes of The Worlds Finest Chocolate.  They got to go the Games reward party today.  They had great fun.

The students who sold one box will be getting
ice cream in the cafeteria.

Sentence Cut Ups

This week the students wrote I can ..... sentences.
Then I typed them up.
Then the kids cut them up.
Then I mixed the words up and they put the sentences back in order.

Finally, they illustrated their sentence and
we are making it into a class book.

Apples, Apples, Apples

We had a fun week.
We did a lot of learning this week using apples.

How many apples tall are you?

The students thought it was great fun sitting in
the hall doing our measuring.
They got to write on clip boards which was big time stuff.

We worked with a partner to see if we
were taller or shorter than our friend.

We tasted apples and graphed our favorites.

We also read books and poems about apples.  We used the poems to find rhyming words.  We also read  apple books to use our sight words.

We even learned how to read a recipe and make applesauce.

Yum! Yum!

Berar Bag Awards

Welcome Mrs. Jennifer

This post will not mean much to most of you
but to these two sweet boys it was very important.
This is Mrs. Jennifer.  She was Joshua and Austin's PreK teacher.  She is in college working on her teaching certificate.  She came to observe in our classroom today for one of her college classes.
We felt very honored to have her.
We love Mrs. Jennifer.
The rest of the class loved having Mrs. Jennifer visit.
