Library Visit

Today is our first visit to the library.  

We had to learn a lot about choosing 

the right book and checking it out.

Red Day

 Today is Red Day.  We sang the R-E-D song.  We read R-E-D poem.  We circles red words and we made a red class book.

We love red.

We compared our names using cubes.

 We went from Jace with 4 letters to Christopher with 11 letters.

Journals and Stations

We started writing in our Journals today.

The Scholars really like having their own place

to draw a picture and write about it.

 Each day the scholars have a time to go to stations.

Our math graph today is "How do you feel about Kindergarten"

Good News we like it.

Pep Rally

We are a No Excuses University.

Our class college is LSU.

Today we had our first Pep Rally.

Severe Weather Drill

We started our day with a severe weather drill.

So stinkin cute.

They did great.  Everyone understood it was practice.

Then we danced to tootie ta.

If you have not heard about tootie ta ask your child.

They love it.

Gingerbread Hunt

Today is Gingerbread Man Day!

We made gingerbread man hats and learned to read a poem.

We read different versions of the Gingerbread Man 

Story and sequenced the pictures.

We made a Gingerbread Man.

Then that silly Gingerbread Man ran away and 

we had to go around the school looking for him.

Our Gingerbread Man is very high tech.  

He left us QR Code Clues to find him.

We looked every where.

We found him back in our room.

Then we ate him.  Yum Yum!
