We had our Rachael's Challenge this morning.

We will be starting a chain reaction of KINDNESS.

Black Day



We are loving our color days.

The students are getting so good at creating pic collages.

They have progressed to adding words,

changing fonts and changing colors of fonts.

So Cool!!

Solar Bugs

We started our Energy Unit in Science today.

We started with light energy.

 

 

The students loved exploring these Solar Bugs.

They observed what happened to these bugs in the classroom, outside in the sun and in the shade.

They were able to draw conclusions about the sun and light energy.

 

Seriously SO COOL!!!

Zero the Hero

Zero the Hero

is back!!

For Day 20 of school

 

The children do not believe me that I am not Zero the Hero!

 

Fruit Loops were our zero for counting today.

 

 

Candy Sales

The Kindergarten students went to their first Assembly today.  They learned how to sell candy safely and what they could win if they participated.

Birthday Wishes

 

Thank you to this sweet class for all the birthday wishes. 

Cadence's Mom brought a card, balloon and cupcakes.

The students loved it.

Pete the Cat

All week we read Pete The Cat Books.

Then we ended the week making a Pete the Cat Picture and doing a sentence cut up about our color of shoes.

If you have not read Pete the Cat books you have got to read them.  They are sooooo  good.

 



Five Senses



We used the Skitch App to create a 5 senses project.

The students worked in groups.  They took a picture of one person in the group.  Then they labeled to 5 senses.

 

 

Orange Day

We are lovin our color days.  Today was Orange Day. 

We dressed in orange.

 We used our Magnetic App to spell the word Orange.

 We sang about Orange and Read an Orange Poem.

We created an Orange Pic Collage.
