Read to Self
Everyday we have a self selected read to self time. Students can read a book on their ipad or out of the library center.
They love this time.
I love when I say "It is read to self time" and I hear their excitement.

Apple Week Fun!
We had great fun with Apple Week.
Students brought their apple from home.
We started by do a real graph.
We started by me giving them time to work as a group and decide on their own how to graph and we slowly narrowed it down to 4 categories. Great problem solving going on.
Ta Da!
We read Apple Books, Apple Poems, Apple Sorts, Apple Rhyming Words, Apple Tasting and ended the week with Applesauce.
Can you believe it, the most students liked yellow apples.

Producers of Light
Today we experimented with objects that produce
light and objects that use light.

Writing Workshop
My little scholars are working so hard to write books.
This week we wrote a book about "Me."
They are doing an awesome job!
Learning our Sight Words
One of the beginning steps in learning to read is
learning our sight words.
This week we practiced our sight words
using a dice app.
Highest Pledges
Our class had the highest pledges of the whole school.
They have had so much fun with the Boosterthon.
Show and Tell Day

Picnic outside. Fun!
They received a lot of rewards for all the pledges.
It was totally worth it.
