V is for Video Day

Video Day was great fun.  Since we are in an ocean unit, 

we watched the movie Little Mermaid.

Uplifting Fun

We are having a blast with our ABC Countdown.

Today we wrote uplifting notes to our friends.  

Share Day

Today everybody could bring a thing to share.  

They loved sharing all their treasures.

Field Day

We had a great Field Day.

They had so much fun running and having relays.

10 Day Count Down

Today starts 10 day count down.

We will be popping a balloon each day.

Career Day

Our Kindergarten Class loved their first Career Day.

Thank you Mr. Shaw, Ms Stice, Mr. Hahne and Mrs. Sieja for sharing your career with us.

The students learned a lot and had fun doing it.

ABC Countdown Continues

These kids are having a blast with ABC Countdown.

It is a fun way to end their Kindergarten Year.

 

On "D" day we danced and danced.  Hilarious

Then of "F" day we read books with our flashlights.

 

On "H" Day they walked into the song Happy playing and they danced and danced then the rest of the day was very happy.

 

On "K" Day we put a red heart on everybody's back and they wrote happy words that described their friend.

 

"L" Day was a blast.

We poured out our big tub of legos and they

worked together to make a city.

I am so lucky to have been able to watch them

work as a team and cooperate with their friends.

Expository Writing

In writing workshop we have been learning

about Expository Writing.

They wrote a book about themselves.  What are they experts on but themselves.  LOL.

They did an amazing job on this book.

 

So today they shared it by reading it to their friends.

Again, I am so luck to be able to watch this great learning going on.

Teacher Appreciation Week

Eric Carle

In reading this week we are reading Eric Carle books and learning where he got his ideas for so many great books.

I forgot to take pictures while we were working but here is the outcome.

 

We learned all about the Author Eric Carle.

 

Then we read the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  We painted a caterpillar and wrote what we would have eaten if we were the caterpillar.

The we read the Very Grouchy Lady Bug.

We painted a ladybug and wrote about what makes us grouchy.

 

They were so funny!

School Spirit Week

School Spirit Week was a blast.

We love Bear Creek Elementary.

review identifying money and addition to 12.
