Wants and Needs

We are learning about wants and needs.

Today we sorted real life wants and needs.  They thought it was gross that toilet paper was a want not a need.

Fall Tree

We Kindergarten Scientist investigated our Fall Tree today, leaves, tree bark, ground around it.  Like all good Scientist we recorded our findings.

Reading and Writing Workshop

These scholars are really getting into 

Reading and Writing Workshop.

This week we wrote and conferenced about narrative writing.

They are doing such a great job.

During Reading Workshop everyone has a chance to read a book at their independent level and liking.  I love sitting next to them and listening to them read. Their browsing boxes and getting really full.

Prepositions

Today the scholars are doing a great job collaborating 

with each other and using placement words.

Day 5 Indian Feathers

Today was Day 5 of earning Indian Feathers.

The tribe had fun learning their phone number and their birthday, counting, tying shoes

60th Day of School

Today is the 60th Day of School.

We counted to 60 and "Zeros"

aka donuts.

Kobe came to read to our class today.
