Today is Career Day.

Dare to Dream.

Mr. David came and performed for the students.

He talked with the students about Doing what makes them Happy.

Our Career Day Speakers were awesome.

We had Mr. Hahne, Caitlyn's Dad, US Army.

Mr. Shaw, Paxton's Dad, Architect.

Mr. Le, Blake's Dad, Police Officer.

Mrs. Bui, Reese's Mom, Stenographer.

Mr. Bartel, Annabelle Grace Dad, Financial Planner.

We had the best day.  The students loved all the speakers.

The Counselor came today to visit today

She talked to the students about different careers.

ABC Coutdown Begins

A is for Airplane Day

They made and designed their airplanes.

Then we had an airplane flying contest.

Our Garden

Today we went outside and checked out our three

week old garden.

We are growing radishes, cucumbers and carrots.

They are all doing great.

Parts of a Plant

Today we looked at real plants 

to discover the parts of the plant:

flower, stem, leaves, roots.

 They took a picture of the plant and

then created a skitch.

Writing Workshop

These scholars are amazing at Writing Stories.

Every day we write during Writing Workshop.

They have moved into writing in books with 

Beginning, Middle and End

 When they finish a book they share with the class.

Science Experiment

Today we did an experiment to see how water 

moves up the stem of the plant.

 The plant turned green within an hour.

The scholars were fascinated.
