Let it Snow

It did not start snowing until after school had already started.
These Kindergarteners were so excited when they realized we were taking them outside to play in the snowflakes.  It was really early this morning so there was not much sticking to the ground.

Happy Birthday Joshua

Joshua has a summer birthday.
Today is his half birthday so we celebrated.

Magnets

We had fun this week exploring Magnets.
The students discovered what would attract and what
repelled the magnet.

Then we recorded our findings.

101 Day of School

101 Day of School = 101 Dalmatian Day.
We made Dalmatian ears and painted our nose to be a Dalmatian.
We read the Disney Book 101 Dalmatians.
Then finally, of course, we had black and white
puppy chow for our treat.

100th Day of School

We had a super fun 100th Day of School.

We did a rotation to three different classes doing 100 Day Activities.  We read I taught my dog 100 words and we tried to write 100 words.  We put together 100 piece puzzles.  We made a 100 day book counting by 10s.

We made a 100 Day Snack.

Groundhog Day

Today is Groundhog Day.  We read books and poetry about Groundhog Day.  We predicted if the Groundhog saw his shadow, watched the live video from the morning when Punxsutawney Phil came out of his hole, and then finally we made a groundhog treat.

Sad to say their prediction was correct and the
Groundhog saw his shadow.  Six more weeks of winter.

We had a blast making Groundhog Snack.
The pudding was the ground.  Crunched  up Oreos was the dirt and Vanilla Waffer Groundhog.

Everyone got a turn to stir.

Ta Da! Yummy!
