my heart was filled with so
much pride and sentiment of joy.
It was a happy moment for me.

How many letters in our names?
The students got a cube for every letter in their name.
We compared our numbers to our friends.
We went from 3 letters to 9 letters.
First Library Day
Today we went to the library for the first time.
We will go every Tuesday for about 6 weeks, then we will start going on our own whenever we are finished with our book.

From Abigail to Van
We have been learning names of friends in our class. Today we read a book called from Anne to Zach. The students wrote the first letter of their name and then their name and drew a picture of something they like to do.
We discovered that our class names go from Abigail to Van. So much fun.
Literacy Stations

Today was our first day with Literacy Stations.
The scholars did a great job collaborating and working together.
